Warranty:

If you decide or must have your bike delivered crated, DBRacing cannot be held responsible for damages that may occur from the improper assembly by yourselves or any other persons.

Many of DBR’s motorcycles are competition machines and are designed and sold with the intended purpose of being used on competition-based designated motocross, mini-bike tracks, and enduro green lanes. Our motorcycles are supplied with a competition 30-day parts-only warranty period from the date of original retail purchase, covering manufacturing parts defects and major mechanical failure on specific components.

The basic warranty period is provided free for 30 days for you to be satisfied that the machine was supplied fault-free, once the machine has been used, we deem this as your acceptance that there were no initial faults.

Many products are not designed for or generally suitable for use on or as full-road vehicles but are supplied for specialist competition use. In such applications components are regularly subjected to extremes of heat, vibration, and stress, which often leads to short life expectancy and reduced durability, failure through factors associated with these stresses is not warrantable and no claims for either product supplied or associated or connected parts will be entertained by the company, neither will any claims for associated costs incurred.

Any type of use other than that from which it is intended may lead to excessive and increased wear and failure of components and as a result, are not covered in any warranty supplied or otherwise implied.

It does not cover consumables – i.e. brake linings, discs, cables, clutch plates, batteries, tyres, inner tubes, chains, sprockets, filters, bearings, plastic components, bulbs, oils, and fluids, and any wear and tear usage.

All new competition motorcycles are supplied on the understanding they will require some final assembly, set up, and inspection before use. The bike will only be covered by warranty if it has been built by us or a reputable VAT-registered motorcycle dealer and the PDI paperwork has been completed. If a warranty claim is to be made within 30 days, we will require a copy of the motorcycle dealer’s receipt and their contact details. You will invalidate your warranty if PDI (assembly & set up) is not carried out by us or a reputable VAT-registered motorcycle dealer.

Any warrantable part deemed defective will be replaced free of charge once we have received and inspected the suspect part. New parts warranty will be covered only for the remaining balance of the original warranty period. No labour is included in the warranty. Removing and fitting is the consumer’s responsibility and must be carried out by a reputable VAT-registered motorcycle dealer.

The customer will be responsible for any return carriage costs and will remain responsible for the item until it has arrived safely with us via tracked mail, or you can bring the motorcycle or part to us.

Notification of any warranty issues must only be made via the online warranty form.

The following is not covered under warranty.

-Labour.
-Loss of time or pay without a vehicle.
-Towing or shipping charges.

Exclusions:

Motorcycles that were not purchased from us directly, or have transferred ownership, or which were/are used for rental purposes, or used for any other commercial use are not covered by any warranty herein. Also excluded from the warranty are, accident, crash or collision damage, any modifications to original parts, improper maintenance, improper assembly (if not carried out by a reputable VAT-registered motorcycle dealer) or improper transportation. Improper use.

Any claims submitted after repairs have been attempted by anyone other than those authorized to do so by DBR will not be validated. Services or attempted repairs by an unqualified and/or unauthorized person void the warranty.

Owners’ responsibility:

The owner is required, to qualify for this warranty, to operate and maintain his/her competition motorcycle according to the guidelines specified in the owner’s manual & PDI sheet (including service schedules), to return the motorcycle to a reputable motorcycle dealer for its first service and obtain proof of this should we require this for claims.

Our machines and parts are competition-orientated and intended for this purpose alone. We cannot foresee or advise on use for any other purpose as opinions may differ. We cannot be held responsible for the customer’s decision to use the machine for anything other than its intended purpose.

DBR cannot be held liable for any accident, loss, or injury caused by using any of our products or motorcycles, you do so at your own risk. We accept no responsibility for any other damages or loss. Also excluded from this warranty are any incidental or consequential damages including loss of use. These machines are sold as competition motorcycles, and we do not cover them for warranty for any other use.

Road-legal bikes only:

Registered with DVLA or supplied with a self-registration pack. Designed and has an intended purpose for competition enduro & off-road use. Road-legal, but suitable for minor/limited road use only. Extended road use will invalidate its 30-day competition parts-only warranty.

If purchased with our DVLA Pre-registration then the new motorcycle will be supplied pre-registered initially to our company and then secondly to the purchaser unless otherwise arranged, this method ensures the long DVLA registration turnaround times do not interfere with the new user riding the motorcycle soon after purchase, on occasions this may well be that we have motorcycles available to ride away the very same day as the purchase. The purchaser will be registered to the bike via the DVLA system following the sale.
