DBRacing Returns Policy
At DBRacing, we aim to make the returns process as smooth as possible. Please read the following carefully to understand our policy and ensure a hassle-free return experience.
General Returns Policy
-
Items can be returned under distance selling regulations if they are unused, in original packaging, and in resaleable condition.
-
Return requests must be made within 14 days of receiving your order.
-
The buyer covers return postage costs.
-
Shipping costs are non-refundable on returned orders due to mistakes or change of mind.
- Mistakes and Refunds: If you ordered something by mistake, we can only offer a refund for the item itself. Shipping costs aren’t refundable, and if your order drops below the £100 free shipping threshold, we’ll deduct the original shipping cost from your refund. Should a different part be required, please place a new order.
Returns for Parts
-
All unused parts in original packaging are eligible for return.
-
Refunds will be issued minus the initial shipping costs:
-
Small parts (under 2kg) – £5 deduction
-
Large parcels (e.g., engines, frames, front suspension, wheels) – £10 deduction
-
Returns for Bikes
-
Unused bikes in original packaging are eligible for return unless otherwise stated.
-
Refunds will be issued minus a minimum £100 shipping deduction.
-
PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) assembly fees are non-refundable if the bike was assembled before delivery.
-
DVLA registration service fees are non-refundable if applied upon purchase.
-
Bikes showing any signs of use will be rejected under distance selling regulations.
Built-to-Order & Custom Bikes
-
Custom-built/built-to-order bikes such as the RT1 50, RT1 125, and FS 250 are exempt from distance selling regulations and cannot be returned.
-
If you require custom modifications, we highly recommend viewing the bike in person before placing your order, as all such sales are final.
-
Any assembled new motorcycle purchase made without prior viewing is done so in acceptance of these terms.
Important Notes on Returns
-
Carburettors that have been used (even slightly) cannot be returned. They must be in unused condition for resale.
-
All returned items will be inspected upon arrival. If an item is found to be used or installed, it will be returned to the customer at their expense.
-
If a return causes your original order to fall below the £100 free shipping threshold, the initial shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
Faulty Items
-
If you receive a faulty item, email us a picture and description of the issue before returning it.
-
Once we receive the faulty item, we will inspect and test it before issuing a refund or replacement.
How to Return an Item
-
Include a note with your order number, name, or a copy of your invoice.
-
Ensure the item is securely packaged to avoid damage in transit.
-
Use a tracked shipping service and consider insurance for high-value items.
