Road legal KÜRZ RT1, you'll definitely be surprised at what this road bike has to offer. Improved more powerful designed engine combined with more above-industry standard parts which make the quality of this road-legal bike superior to its own class.

The KÜRZ RT1 125 is the ideal bike for riders taking the circuit track experience to the tarmac, a great solid feeling affordable buy for the learner rider.

The RT1 125 boasts a YX Racing big valve 125cc 4-stroke electric start engine and higher gear ratios to achieve maximum top speed, yet still using its high torque to pull strong out of the bends. The upright, centred and aggressive riding position of a supermoto styled motorcycle allows exceptionally tight cornering with the lightweight agility and potent acceleration of a dirt bike.

In this scene, the new and improved KÜRZ RT1 is considered a winner's bike. With the most powerful horizontal engine in the 125cc class and a chassis that is machine welded precision engineered for an exact balance of stiffness and torsional flex, the HD frame features class leading geometries all that deliver an accurate rider feedback, energy absorption, handling response and straight-line stability. There is simply nothing else like it.

Unlike motocross, the tarmac surface of supermoto provides phenomenal grip with the widest wheels we have seen to date and slick style YX tyres, allowing you to charge into corners and power straight out again with confidence and ease.

With an electric start, backed-up with a kick start to ensure you can get going quickly and easily wherever you find yourself. The headlight, tail lamp, indicators and LED speedometer adds to the RT1's versatility, all powered by a compact battery and located centrally to maintain a balanced bike.

Every feature of the KÜRZ RT1 has been carefully designed with racers in mind, lighter than traditional street bikes and with a more centred balance point, makes it easy for supermoto riders to hang the rear end out and come into corners sideways with the tyres smoking.

The KÜRZ RT1 125 has a 4 speed manual gearbox with gears being a simple arrangement of neutral to fourth - (N-1-2-3-4) or 4 - up.

With the new option to buy a set of E4 approved enduro tyres and wheels in addition, you can expand your horizons even more. Take your road bike to the dirt with a simple and fast wheel swap, increasing your presence and versatility with the front 17” and back 14” enduro style wheels. With the power from the engine this little beauty can take anything in its stride.

Had this bike for around 6 months, purchased for practice while passing license for any cc.
This was a big help, even with the 4 up. Passed within a couple of months of getting this and moved to a DR-Z 400, though ended up keeping the pit bike as a fun thing to work on, and learn with.

Bike has only done about 500 miles but it’s held together well in that time.
That is not to say build quality feels out of this world, because it doesn’t.

Foot stand has always been wobbly and has wanted replacing from day one.
Front forks feel a tiny bit buckly if stopping too hard by accident (or on purpose).
That is compared to the DR-Z where it just feels a lot firmer to lift the back.
To lift the front is fine. It can bark when you pull from the lights if you let it.

Price feels very reasonable for what you are getting so I don’t think anyone would feel disappointed buying or being bought this bike.
People love the look of it. Kids adore it. (I’m 5’9″ and look fine on it. DR-Z is like getting down from a high chair in comparison). Clearance is high one these bikes.

Resale when I was considering, seemed like a less liquid market than for any Japanese bike. Shop/garage was not interested as they said getting second hand spares for cheap might be an issue if they offer warranty and the buyer wrecks it. Selling to an individual you will find a buyer easily, just don’t expect it to hold the relative value of Japanese motorbike.

From a hobby builder perspective, as a buyer who can enjoy the practicality of being able to jump on here and pick out some parts without feeling the burn from the mark up it’s a great bike for that. Everything is quick and easy to get to and there are from this perspective plenty of parts available and guides on maintenance.

Which would be the last point, just to expect some maintenance. Chain did get a little slack and there were a couple of things to tighten here and there, but everything is listed in the manual.

    Good bike.
